Celebrating 100 posts with a giveaway :)

Wow!  I can't believe that I have had my blog just over a year and that I made it to 100 posts with my Dulce De Leche entry.  I have a cupcake book to giveaway as a thank you for reading :)

This was my second cupcake book EVER.  It has some rough reviews on Amazon, but it's a great place to start for both sweet and savory cupcakes and muffins.  Tia's favorite cupcake that I make is Lavender and Honey and is from this book!

To enter:

And we have a winner!  Comment 12 from CL:

"A happy memory with cupcakes that I have involves S'more cupcakes. I made them for a friend's birthday shindig at a bar, and we ended up selling them at the bar! We were walking around shouting "$1 Dolla Cupcakes, One of a Kind!" :) We left with many good stories."

Thanks for sharing, CL!  I hope that you enjoy your book!

  2. Ooo! I'd love to have this as part of my dessert book collection. I made cupcakes for my friend's 24th birthday. They were hot pink to match her hot pink hair. She said it was the best cupcake she's ever had and people loved the classy decoration. Congrats on hitting 100!

  4. My best friend and baking buddy, Lisa, and I were making cupcakes filled with strawberry sauce. We tried using a pastry bag and large round tip to fill them but because the sauce was chunky, it wasn't easy to control the flow. We had a total Lucy & Ethel moment - trying to keep chunks of strawberry from going everywhere while we were laughing so hard that we could barely hold the pan or the bag. Thinking about it still makes me smile.

  11. My first cupcakes were made when I was 18 yrs old and they were so hard, my younger brother used them as rocks to throw at his friends of the roof our old building. It was quite hilarious!! Now, Im a much better baker and instead of throwing them, my brother devours them..Jackie
